First Snow Photography & A Reflection

Baby MJ experienced her first snow (along with another special first ) while visiting her grandparents up in Rocky Mount, VA.

It was a very special treat for 3 reasons.

1. This was our baby girl’s first snow
2. This was our “last” snow before moving to the Tropics.
3. Snow always reminds me of a special Bible verse.

 ”Though Your Sins Be As Scarlet”

“Though your sins be as scarlet, They shall be as white as snow;
Though they be red like crimson, They shall be as wool!”

“Though your sins be as scarlet, Though your sins be as scarlet,
They shall be as white as snow, They shall be as white as snow.”

“Hear the voice that entreats you, O return ye unto God!
Hear the voice that entreats you, O return ye unto God!
He is of great compassion, And of wondrous love;”

“Hear the voice that entreats you, Hear the voice that entreats you,
O return ye unto God! O return ye unto God!”

“He’ll forgive your transgressions, And remember them no more;
He’ll forgive your transgressions, And remember them no more;
‘Look unto Me, ye people,’ Saith the Lord your God!”

.

He’ll forgive your transgressions, He’ll forgive your transgressions,

And remember them no more, And remember them no more.”

-Though Your Sins Be as Scarlet, Fanny Crosby 1887

It was early in the Sunday morning when I looked outside the window to behold this wintery beauty.

 I put on my shoes and grabbed my camera to capture what I know my photography will not do much justice.  God is such a great artist.  The sky was astonishingly beautiful!

Here is my in-law’s house:
