Holidays in Saipan

From Daddy:

(A blog post for family far away from the tiny island of Saipan)

This is how we celebrated Christmas and New Year’s Holiday!

After church on Christmas Sunday, I had Noche Buena with your  Tita’s house.

I had a great time with them.  We had quite a bit of food to celebrate Christmas time together.

Here’s your cousin.  She wanted to make sure you see her in this picture.  She’s really looking forward to meeting you.

We were all together at New Year’s eve as well.  We visited some of the Filipino neighbors and let your cousins light their fireworks and sparklers.

I was pretty tired so after eating a little, I headed back in my apartment around 1230.  But I wasn’t able to sleep right away because the fireworks and the singing kept on for a while :)

on the last day of our Christmas break, we headed to the beach to enjoy the warm waters.

Your cousins loved playing in the sand…

But they weren’t too sure about the water.  Unless Mommy and Daddy were holding them.

I hear from your Mommy that you love being in the water.  I am glad to hear it because in a few more weeks you’d be on your way here and I promise to take you to the beach often.

I really miss you and your Mommy very much and am very excited that you guys will be here soon.  I want nothing more than for all of us to be together again.

Pretty soon, you and your mommy will have lots of beautiful pictures just like this together at the beach.

I love you both very much and I hope you have a blast at your Nana and Pop-pops’.  Be careful riding his tractor trailer and I hope you and Saddie get along well.  You’d like her. She’s a sweet dog.

From Daddy.

Don't have nightmares. It's just me, Daddy. With my snorkels. And No; I didn't take Nemo.
