Fitness Goals
As I have mentioned in this post, I would like simplify and transfer over my old fitness/running blog into Home & Bahay. My original thought with that was to keep myself accountable with my weight loss and running goals.
Let me tell you now that neither the blog nor the weight loss goal go far. Big fail?
Somewhat.
2011 was not the most active and fit stage of my life. My running was sporadic. I exercised at home but that too was here and there. I took walks but none rigorous enough. Having a baby wasn’t nearly an excuse.
In fact there was no excuses. Just plain lazy
This year my fitness goal comes in one word: CONSISTENT.
Lord willing, by the end of 2012, I’d like to look back at the year and have run a race or two (unsure because so far I only know of one race event in Saipan).
Race (s)
Physical Fitness
- train for the Saipan 10K
- be able to do least 3 chin ups (by Dec 31, 2012)
- complete P90X (begin summer 2012)
- exercise everyday (at least 5 minute exercises: jump rope intervals; push ups & squats intervals)
What about you?
Did you make any physical/fitness goals for this year? How did you do last year?

Cool that you are planning to run in Saipan! My main fitness “goal” is to run 400 miles this year over the course of the year. (Not that much if you’re an avid runner, but right now I don’t run every day and only run 1 to 3 miles when I workout.) Right now, I’m not setting anything else in stone since our baby is due in the middle of the year, but after the baby arrives I’ll see where I am and where I need to go.
Yes I’m pretty excited that we will be able to go to Saipan soon. 400miles sounds great! Do you join in races, Keren? They are a lot of fun
